Halnea is the name of the continent the main story of Aethernea takes place in and is also the name of the planet. There exist multiple continents on the planet of Halnea, however, the residents of the continent of Halnea aren't aware that other continents exist.
The term "Halneans" could refer to three different things:
- natives of the planet Halnea
- natives living on the continent of Halnea
- most commonly, it is a term used as a synonym for "argel and elibu" and "mortals" as opposed to "Ascended" and "gods"
